Highland Atomic City lies in Xihai town, Haibei Prefecture. In 1950s, it was established as the first research and production base for nuclear weapons in China.

The first nuclear weapon of China was successful to develop, assemble and install within the mysterious forbidden zone of 1,700 km. Now it is unveiled to the world and has become a marvelous and peculiar spectacle.
