Qinghai Tianyoude Cycling Team is one of the first two continental teams in China registered in UCI, together with Team Max Success Sports. The team was founded in 2008 with all riders born in Qinghai Province. Ma Haijun is one of the best riders in China, who has got quite a few good results in international competition. In 2009 Tour of Qinghai Lake, Wu Shengjun won the first stage from Xining to Tongren. The team is now composed of some young athletes who need experience in different races both at home and abroad.
The team is sponsored by Qinghai Tianyoude Highland Barley Liquor Company, which is famous in Northwestern China. Its products are very popular with local consumers.
