Each year, the organization enrolls 20-25 volunteers (mainly university teachers and students), who can speak fluent English and other foreign languages, to work for different teams. They are trained to help solve all kinds of problems regarding participants’ transportation, accommodation, visa extension, shopping and other relevant affairs during the race.Since 2006, some overseas Chinese students and elites from famous universities in China voluntarily joined in this group. They showed strong leadership and communication skills in solving challenges from helping the teams and provided crucial and outstanding help for this race.
It is worth mentioning that most of the volunteers were born in Qinghai and come back to make contribution to their hometown. |
